Victorian power distribution business, AusNet Services, has taken delivery of their first Nifty-Lift NL180KTF EWPs. Mounted on Hino FM2632 6×4 chassis, these units are destined for service throughout country Victoria.

In addition to the high base specification offered on the NL180KTF, including 435kg Basket Capacity, these units have been fitted out with many additional options to fully customise the package to meet the needs of the rural depots.

Nifty-Lift’s optional Material handler socket was fitted, along with a 160kg rated lifting winch. With 435kg basket capacity, the lifting winch still leaves plenty of basket capacity for the optional basket liner, two operators and their tools.

With an axle weight monitoring system, and a central tyre inflation system, these trucks are designed to go anywhere and ensure the truck is not overloaded. With tonnes of payload available, AusNet can be assured of compliance with road regulations at all times.

AusNet optioned Fuel Saver Mode, which helps save running costs, reduces the impact on the environment and reduces noise at the job site.

Nifty-Lift carried out thorough handover training sessions at each depot to ensure operators can operate all the safety and emergency recovery systems, but to also ensure they can take advantage of the extra manoeuvrability of the KTF boom configuration, which has been shown to be up to 30% more productive than other EWPs.
