We recently delivered two new NL160TF EWPs to the Electrix depot in Melbourne. These two 16 metre EWPs were mounted on Isuzu 4×2 chassis, and were built with a detailed locker design and a number of options to ensure these EWPs are exactly suited to the tasks the Electrix linesmen will carry out.

These trucks are capable of working on Electrix’s electricity asset inspection, maintenance and repair contracts, as well as street lighting repairs and upgrade works.
Critically, the two new EWPs were delivered on time, which enabled Electrix to plan works for the new additions to the fleet, and the trucks went into service shortly after delivery. A comprehensive training session consisting of classroom and practical components was delivered by our experienced trainers.

The NL160TF gives a huge side reach of over 12 metres, and has our industry leading 180º articulating fly boom and basket rotator.

The NL160TF also boasts the highest Basket Capacity in the 16 metre segment, with 350kg. Importantly, our 180º basket rotator is standard, and does not de-rate the capacity.

Electrix operators will be able to easily position the work platform, with all their tools on board, exactly where they need to enable them to complete their job in the safest and most productive manner.
