Long time Nifty-Lift customer, Powercor, have taken delivery of the first new NL200KTFs. This updated model, which extends on the popularity of the NL190KTF, features an updated basket capacity to an industry leading 435kg, with a wind speed rating of 72km/h!
With a large number of NL190KTF already in the Powercor fleet, Powercor were only too keen to take delivery of the updated model.
As well as boosting the headline specifications of basket capacity and wind speed rating, the updated models also feature hundreds of smaller updates, each designed to further improve reliability, and decrease ownership costs.
Despite the boosted basket capacity, the new models are no heavier on the truck, a benefit made possible through the use of higher grade steels, and optimised fibreglass design. Travel height is also improved (lower), as is the rear departure angle.
Powercor operators had previously mourned the removal of the ‘boom straight’ indicator light on series II NL170KTF and NL190KTF, so this useful feature is back! Using new technology, this feature is reliable and assists operators to stow the booms quickly into the rests without damage.
