Fuel Saver Mode is a new innovation from Nifty-Lift, designed to save money, help the environment and reduce job site noise pollution.

The system automatically shuts off the truck engine when the EWP is not being operated, however instantly restarts the engine when the operator begins to operator the EWP again, giving seamless movements.

Critically, given the amount of auxilliary systems often running off the truck batteries, the system monitors the battery charge level and automatically restarts the engine to prevent batteries running flat.

The system is able to be turned on or off at any time, and also allows the operator to adjust the amount of time before the engine switches off, so the feature can be customised to suit individual preferences or job site requirements.

Nifty-Lift Fuel Saver Mode (FSM) has the potential to save tens of thousands of dollars over the life of the EWP, as well as dramatically reduce the effect of the diesel engine on the environment, making it an easy justifiable addition to your new Nifty-Lift.

Operators have found the system offers another huge benefit- reducing noise on the jobsite and enabling far easier communication between ground crew and operators at height. Neighbours in urban areas also appreciate the reduction in noise when EWP works are being carried out.

FSM can be updated onto Nifty-Lift EWPs manufactured from 2014 onwards and fitted with the Enhanced User Interface screen in the truck cabin. *Note, other features such as driving screen saver and enabling USB updates can also be installed with the FSM option if requested.
